This title is serious. A Peace Corps Volunteer, Cathy Saltwick recently died in a car accident. When I have more time online, I'll write a post about how dangerous the roads are here, but for now you all are going to have to take my word for it. I never met Cathy but I was rattled when I got the news. I originally got her placement, and was right about to call her for information on the village when the training manager announced her death.

I'm sorry to hear about your fellow volunteer but happy to hear that you're doing well and looking forward to your updates (yay internet!) especially when you really get settled in. Once you do I'll have to get your address so I can send you something.
